Between The Framelines Podcast

The idea behind Between The Framelines Podcast is to share the stories behind the assignments and interview talented individuals about their craft, exploring the stories that drive their work, and diving into what inspires them to create art, images, and the unique ways they see the world.

I’ve been fortunate to spend the first 12 years of my career as a photojournalist, covering a wide range of assignments—from NASCAR and pro/college football games to U.S. Marine Corps training, and national news (much of which was featured on the AP wire), as well as local stories and special projects in my community.

Along the way, I’ve had the chance to venture into freelance photography twice, running David Duncan Photography, and serving as Photography Manager at one of the largest Christian universities in the country, Liberty University. Additionally, I spent four rewarding years teaching as an adjunct instructor at Randolph College, where I taught courses like Intro to Digital Video, Advanced Multimedia Storytelling, and Intro to Photography.

Thanks for listening!
