USCG Rescue Swimmers, Rescue Swimmers was a short documentary I shot, edited and produced in 2005 while attending the Poynter Institute for Journalist's, Visual Edge, Visual Reporting workshop. I wanted to do a story on the U.S. Coast Guard Rescue swimmers who are located in St. Petersburg who just came back from rescue efforts in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina. I was on base for about 4 hours during a day and shot and recorded some amazing stories. Our time length for the final project was two minutes. The video was shot with a Canon XL2 and edited on Apple Final Cut Pro. We had one day to figure out the camera and a two-hour class on final cut pro.
DDay Intro, This is an intro I shot, edited and produced for the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VA. To help support the National D-Day Memorial in remembering their sacrifices. At the time of this video it marked the 68th anniversary of the Allied Landing at Normandy.

I'm a Creepin and a Crawlin is a song by Tim Elliott. The song and b-roll was shot and recorded in a bare studio warehouse in Altavista, VA during a cold winter day. The interview was shot and recorded in my studio in Lynchburg, VA the next day. at the time of this video. This is a first draft so to speak with the song when I recorded it. The final version of the song has been recorded at 16 Ton Recording Studios in Nashville, TN with Tim Elliott, Michael Esser and Michael Web and some others.
