Fighting for the Lord was shot and recorded back in 2004 when I was heavy into recording audio stories for myself. I was and still interested in documentary radio/multimedia. At that time I carried around a small a Sony mini disc recorder and an Olympus DS-2 digital recorder.
Present day, I am more into creating multimedia stories with audio, video and photography for myself and different clients.
When I look at an image in the paper/website or in a magazine. I am always thinking about the audio or the video side as well.
Just carrying a simple recorder and good mic can bring the image alive for the viewer. In a pinch if you are shooting digital you can use your camera's recorder to capture sound.
