Pod Cast

Fighting for the Lord was shot and recorded back in 2004 when I was heavy into recording audio stories for myself. I was and still interested in documentary radio/multimedia. At that time I carried around a small a Sony mini disc recorder and an Olympus DS-2 digital recorder.
Present day, I am more into creating multimedia stories with audio, video and photography for myself and different clients.
When I look at an image in the paper/website or in a magazine. I am always thinking about the audio or the video side as well.
Just carrying a simple recorder and good mic can bring the image alive for the viewer. In a pinch if you are shooting digital you can use your camera's recorder to capture sound.

It was a blessing yesterday to follow our church, Brentwood Church as they drove down U.S. 460 to Gleaning for the World to drop off cases of water that the church and it members donated to help the people of Haiti. While there I not only shot images but had the pleasure to interview Steve Pettit, Life Development Pastor and Rev. Ronald Davidson, founder and president of Gleaning for the World. Last week I recorded Don Summers, my father-in-law playing the fiddle. Michelle’s parents visited with us here in Lynchburg, VA. They are from Griffin GA and her dad has been playing Old Time music for over 15 years. Don sat down in our studio to record some songs and to talk about the music and the style. The first audio file is the interview the other three are songs.
